The Old Yella Dog Ranch is located adjacent to historic Vya, Nevada. You'll find us on Nevada State Route 34 just north of Route 8A in northwest Washoe County, 22 miles east of Cedarville, California. Find us on: Google Maps
Once you reach the California-Nevada state line on CA 299, you'll leave black top behind and your adventure back in time begins on NV 8A, a good gravel road. Please drive slowly as ranchers, cattle, dogs and wildlife share our roads.
IMPORTANT: a full tank of fuel is recommended as there are no services out this way, and the cell phone signal disappears soon after crossing into Nevada.
